The Redcat Racing Lightning EPX Pro Brushless 1/10 scale car is ready-to-race at your local track and now comes with a 2.4GHz radio! The car is "Lightning" quick with its brushless 3300KV 540 Novatech motor and brushless ESC (2s LIPO ready!). Aluminum capped, oil filled shocks give it a smooth ride and improve traction to maximize speed on the flats and through corners. Vivid colors on a polycarbonate body and soft compound tires give it a gorgeous look, too. The car also features 4WD steering, forward/reverse transmission, and a 2.4GHz radio. A 7.2V 2000mAh NiMH battery pack and charger are provided. Eight AA size batteries are needed for the transmitter.

This rc car measures 14.2" long and 4.4" high with a 10.2" wheelbase.  It comes in just one color scheme, as pictured.

The Tenergy Universal Fast Smart Battery Charger is a fine upgrade that will give you a quicker charge time (1-2 hrs) than the stock charger.  The Redcat Racing Lightning EPX Pro is also LiPO ready, meaning you can switch to LiPo power by simply upgrading the battery and you would not have to replace any other components such as the ESC. A separate LIPO charger would also be required.
