Fire up the Redcat Racing Lightning STR Nitro Car 2.4GHz and watch it fly! This is the same as the classic Lightning STR Nitro car, but now comes with a 2.4GHz transmitter instead of an AM radio. This means no more worries about crystals or radio interference! The Vertex VX-16 engine provides the power and the 75cc fuel tank allows plenty of run time between pit stops. A two speed transmission and 4WD give you excellent speed and control of your Lightning STR Nitro car. Watch it kick into second gear and rip up the road! Its aluminum chassis is built to last and its aluminum capped, oil-filled shocks improve traction and maximize cornering speed.

These nitro rc cars are available in three color schemes: blue/white, green/flame, and green/white. ""Blue/White"" is in the first picture above. ""Green/Flame"" is the vehicle in the third picture with the dark green, yellow and orange design. ""Green/White"" is shown in the fourth picture and has a green rear spoiler and green roof on the car with a white front bumper. The STR nitro model measures 14"" long, so it is a 1/10 scale car.

To run the Redcat Racing Lightning STR Nitro Car, you will also need a starter kit and nitro fuel. These are not included with this rc car, but can be added to your order at top right. The basic starter kit includes a glow igniter, charger for it, some basic tools, and an empty fuel bottle. An electric wand starter is also available. In order to use the Redcat Racing electric starter, first remove the engine and install the new backing plate from the electric starter kit. Mount the engine back in the chassis and you'll be ready to go! The electric starter takes the place of the hand pull cord; a glow igniter is still required as well to start the car.
