The Redcat Racing Rampage XB 1/5 Scale Gasoline Buggy is smoking hot and ready to rock! It's got a two stroke 30cc gas engine, four wheel drive, single speed transmission, steel gears, a big 4mm 6061-T6 aluminum chassis, and sturdy oil-filled, aluminum body shocks. A tuned exhaust helps deliver peak performance. A new 2.4GHz radio comes standard as well and the Rampage XB requires only minor assembly. A receiver battery and charger are both included, so the Rampage XB is ready-to-run once you add batteries to the transmitter. A separate starter kit is not required (no glow plugs here); the engine is equipped with a pull start.

A metal gear servo upgrade is also available for the Redcat Racing Rampage XB buggy: the Hitec HS-5755MG servo. The Hitec HS-5755MG Rampage Kit includes the servo as well as servo horns and a mount, Redcat Racing parts 50118 and 07123, that are needed to use the servo with the Rampage XT, XSC, and XB models.

The Rampage XB gas buggy measures 29.9 inches long x 18.1 inches wide x 11 inches high and weighs 19.8 lbs (9 kg) without fuel. The fuel tank holds 500cc, so you'll get plenty of run time per tank. Blue and green colors are available - select your favorite when ordering!

What else is required for the Redcat Racing Rampage XB 1/5 Scale Gasoline Buggy: gasoline, two stroke engine oil, AA batteries for the transmitter, and thread lock such as blue loctite. The manufacturer recommends a 25:1 mix of gasoline with oil. Thread lock such as blue loctite is needed for screws that thread into metal to prevent them from vibrating loose while the buggy is operating. Some hobbyists have use red loctite instead of blue for the wheels, but this type of loctite is stronger and requires heat to remove it.
