The super cool Redcat Racing Rampage XSC 1/5 Scale Short Course Truck is smoking hot and rearin' to go! This short course truck is the newest of the 1/5th scale Rampage gas trucks from Redcat Racing. Like the XT truck and the XB buggy before it, the short course truck has a powerful, 30cc two stroke gas engine and steel gears. It is built Rampage tough for rough and tumble off road driving with 4WD steering, aluminum body oil filled shocks, and a single speed transmission. Dual disc brakes, aluminum chassis, and a tuned pipe are also standard. The Redcat Racing Rampage XSC has short course style wheels and tires as well as short course design front and rear bumpers that distinguish it from the XT truck.

With a 500cc fuel tank, you'll get plenty of run time per tank with the Rampage XSC. The 2.4GHz radio lets you control this beast with the flick of a finger with no worries for radio signal interference.

The Rampage XSC comes in one color scheme, blue, as shown and is recommended by Redcat Racing for ages 14 and up.

The dry weight is 23.1 lbs (10.5 kg). All three "X" model Rampages including the short course XSC version weigh about 23 pounds, while the "M" models such as the MT are about ten pounds heavier.

What else do you need to run the Rampage XSC? You'll need gasoline, two cycle engine oil, AA batteries for the transmitter, and thread lock such as blue loctite for screws that thread into metal. Redcat Racing recommends a 25:1 mix of gasoline with two stroke oil to fuel the truck. Thread lock is a necessity since gasoline and nitro vehicles experience lots of vibration that will loosen screws over time. Some users opt for stronger red loctite instead of blue for the wheels. This works, but you should be aware that red loctite requires heat for removal while blue does not.
