The Redcat Racing Tornado S30 1/10 Scale Nitro Buggy 2.4GHz is ready to rip anywhere, anytime! This baby has a two-speed transmission and four wheel drive, a 3.0cc .18 SH nitro engine, plus an aluminum tuned exhaust. With a rugged aluminum chassis, ball joint suspension, and oil shocks the Tornado S30 can handle almost anything. Composite disc brakes give all the stopping power this nifty buggy needs and the 2.4GHz radio provides nimble steering control.

Three colors are available: purple/green, red/green, and orange/black (pictures 1, 2, and 3 respectively). Pick your favorite when you order!

How does the Redcat Racing Tornado S30 compare with the less expensive Shockwave buggy? A bigger engine, two speed gear box, and 2.4GHz radio distinguish the Tornado S30 nitro buggy from the Shockwave.

A starter kit and nitro fuel are also required to operate the Tornado S30. These do not come in the package, but both are available separately as accessories at the top right. Follow the manufacturer instructions to break in the engine and you should have lots of fun times driving your Tornado nitro buggy. Video tutorials from Redcat Racing should help you with the break in process and we recommend you view these while you are waiting for your new Tornado to arrive!

The Redcat Racing Tornado S30 is a fast, hobby grade car. Due to its speed plus the maintenance and break-in needed for nitro vehicles compared with electrics, the manufacturer recommends these for ages 14 and over.

Cool Truggy!
By Nick L. from Lower Burrell, PA on 11/23/2011

This is my first nitro rc car. I know im only just starting but its not crazy advanced and i can figure it out. Its a really cool looking car. Me and my dad had a little trouble setting it up but it runs great. Just for a little hint, the manuel isn't very clear. We had to get help from a friend. So try looking up on youtube how to break in the engine. There was a video by a guy name alishnmo or something like that. He is part of redcat and helped out more than the manuel actually. Other than that, its a really cool car and i really like it!
