The Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum Edition has arrived in style! This powerful 4wd truck is a fast - 40+ mph! - and fun short course race truck. The clear body lets you add your own style if you choose. The platinum edition adds Teflon-coated Big Bore shocks, blue anodized aluminum C-hubs, S1-compound BF Goodrich mud-terrain T/A tires, sealed silicone-filled center differential, front and rear swaybars, and other goodies to the base Slash 4x4 platform. As with the Slash 4x4, this edition features a Velineon 3500 brushless motor, VXL-3s waterproof electronic speed control, and a waterproof digital steering servo. Traxxas High Current connectors are employed for maximum performance. Heavy duty steel turnbuckles and rubber-sealed ball bearings are also used to ensure durability.

The Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum Edition also requires a transmitter, receiver, batteries, and charger, i.e., these parts are not in the Platinum Edition package. The motor requires a high-discharge rated 6-cell stick or 7-cell hump battery with Traxxas High Current Connector.
