Megatech Nirvana Competition Sailboat FM radio

The Megatech Nirvana Competition Sailboat is designed from the keel up to handle like a real racing yacht, with a deep lead ballast keel and realistic rigging with proportional winch controls.  Not only that, but this elegant vessel can be ready to sail in 30 minutes!  Just add twelve "AA" batteries for the transmitter and receiver and you'll be all set for several hours of sailing action.

The Nirvana is probably the most popular rc sailboat ever made and it isn&#39t hard to see why.  Its sleek hull rides well in the water and comes with authentic detail that experienced sailors will appreciate, including toe rails and cockpit seat boards.  The polyethylene film sails are quite tear resistant and look gorgeous on the boat along with the carbon fiber reinforced spars that support them.  The rigging, rudder, and keel can all be quickly released from the hull for easy transport in your car so this boat is as practical as it is beautiful.

In 2012, the boat is packaged with a 2.4GHz Aerosport radio.  This frequency hopping system effectively prevents radio signal interference from spoiling your experience on the water.  In late 2012, we and the main US distributor ran out of boats with the Aerosport radio.  Boats for sale for Christmas 2012 are the same fine Nirvana sailboat but they come with an FM radio instead of the Aerosport radio.  This is why the price of these Nirvana boats has been reduced by $45 off the regular pricing.

How fast can it go?  The Nirvana can make up to 6 knots in wind speeds up to 20 knots!  It requires a water depth of at least 13" to sail (remember the keel). The vessel meaures 32" long x 65.5" high with a 7.75" beam when fully assembled. A boat stand is also included in the package. Assembly is straightforward.

Three colors are available: red, blue, and yellow colors. Choose your favorite when you order!
