The Traxxas Slash 2WD Pro SCT with 2.4GHz TQ Radio is a great way to get into short course racing! The truck looks great and can reach speeds over 30 mph with its Titan 12T 550 modified motor! A center ground clearance over 3.5 inches and adjustable Ultra Shocks help the Traxxas Slash 2WD Pro SCT negotiate obstacles that could stop other trucks cold. Front and rear tube style bumpers also help to protect the vehicle. An XL-5 electronic speed control (ESC) with training modes is included and the water-sealed electronics let you run in mud without worry of fouling the electronics. The receiver box is also sealed by an O-ring to keep it watertight.

The Traxxas ESC includes sport, race, and training modes. The training mode offers reduced forward and reverse power to make it easier for newer rc truck drivers to learn to handle the vehicle at a slower pace before moving up to higher speeds. The TQ 2.4GHz spread spectrum radio has a comfortable case and programmable failsafe.

This Traxxas Slash 2WD Pro SCT is provided with a rechargeable 3000mAh motor battery and charger as well. A new owner needs only to provide 8 size AA batteries for the transmitter before getting underway. The provided charger takes 8.5 hrs to charge. Upgrade options for the motor battery and charger are available. The vehicle accepts 6- and 7-cell flat packs as well as 7-cell hump packs (7.2/8.4V NiMH).
