The Multiplex Easy Star was designed with first time pilots in mind. First, it has incredibly stable and forgiving flight characteristics. Second, its Elapor foam is both damage resistant and easy to work with should any repairs become necessary. This plane is great for beginners, since you can repair and keep flying the Easy Star after crashes that would send some other trainers right to the trash heap!
The Multiplex Easy Star is driven by a strong Permax Speed 400 motor mounted on the top, so hard nose-first landings won't break the prop or damage the motor. The Easy Star glides well without power and has the ability to recover easily from errant maneuvers.
In addition to being a great trainer, this is an excellent plane for aerial photography. Have you seen those videos where the camera is shooting through the propellers? No worries here! Remember, with the Multiplex Easy Star its propeller is behind the main wing.

Repairs can be effected with CA glue. Dents can be repaired by running warm water over the foam (no we're not kidding-the foam really does expand into the hole). We also have the receiver ready version of this plane for pilots who already have a radio to use.
