This mini-sized Syma S012 Mini AH-64 Apache helicopter is ready-to-fly with its 3-channel (3CH) proportional infrared remote control system. A 3CH controller is a nice feature in this price range, since many of the smallest radio controlled helicopters feature only 2CH. The helicopter can fly for 6-8 minutes on a full charge and a full charge takes perhaps 20 minutes. The Apache is a fine beginner's helicopter and is surprisingly durable. It can be controlled at a range of approximately 100 ft, or 30 m.
The 3CH Apache AH-64 helicopter has a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery and the remote controller is powered by 6 AA-size batteries (not included). A charger with LED indicator and auto shut off is packaged with the helicopter. Chopper measures 5.9" L x 2.1" W x 3.4" H.
