The Syma S111G Mini MH-68A Coast Guard Helicopter with Gyro 3CH is a beautiful red and white colored, 8.5" long semi-scale version of the MH-68A Stingray helicopter that was used by the United States Coast Guard until 2008. Like most other new Syma helicopters, it features a stabilizing gyroscope that makes it easy to maneuver. It is great for indoor use, with easy to handle controls on its infrared transmitter. You can fly the helicopter up, down, left, right, forward, and backward. The 3.7V LiPo battery in this Coast Guard helicopter can be recharged either through the transmitter or the included USB charger cable. Use the charger cable either with a computer USB port or with a portable wall charger that has USB ports. Since you can charge through the transmitter, you can take your Syma S111G Coast Guard helicopter to a friend's house for a fun afternoon of flying without having to carry along a separate charger. The USB charging cable lets you conserve the AA batteries in the transmitter.
The full scale Agusta MH-68A was deployed on Coast Guard cutter boats as part of HITRON, the Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron, during its years of service. It was engineered to intercept drug runners off shore and had a .50 caliber laser sighted rifle designed to let Coast Guardsmen disable the engines of any fast drug boats attempting to elude them. With the Syma S111G Mini MH-68A, you can patrol your own homeland and woe be to any who attempt an escape!
The Syma S111G Mini MH-68A Coast Guard Helicopter is ready-to-fly out of the box. You'll be in the air just as soon as you add AA batteries to the infrared transmitter and charge up the helicopter battery. This helicopter is 21.5cm, or 8.5in, long.
