The CEN Grey Thunder 550 EP features a unique cabin design and cool colors plus an electronic speed control system.  Electronic speed control gives you proportional speed control, so you can adjust the boat velocity incrementally from slow to top speeds.  Most cheaper, toy grade boats have simple on/off throttle control for the motors.  The semi-deep ABS plastic V hull lets the Grey Thunder slice through the waves with ease and its drive system moves the propeller and rudder together for quick and responsive turning control.   A steerable rudder is another feature that defines the Grey Thunder as a hobby quality boat.  Its maximum speed is approximately 15 mph.

This boat is supplied almost ready-to-run. The Cen Grey Thunder also requires a rechargeable motor battery, a charger, and 8 "AA" batteries for the pistol grip transmitter. These are not included with the purchase, but are available from our store as accessories for the boat.  A Venom 7.2V 3000mAh NiMH battery and the Megatech AC/DC 4-8 cell peak charger are compatible with this boat.
